Chamber Music Melbourne

The name Eine Kleine Wind or ‘a little wind ensemble’ is a take on Mozart’s famous composition Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music). If you are wanting a breath of fresh air for your ceremony, private function or corporate event we can provide an elegant vibe for you and your guests.

Eine Kleine Wind offers you quality music and a flexibility of instruments and repertoire.

Instrumentation: Our standard wind trio includes oboe, horn and bassoon and we can expand to a quintet with the addition of flute and clarinet. If you are needing something with a bit more flare you may favour a touch more brass – please mention this when making your booking.

Repertoire: We have repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music and are able to make suggestions for your ceremony or other needs. Please mention any particular requests when making your booking as we can arrange something for you. If you require background music we will select a range of light unobtrusive music from our current repertoire.

Our set up is quick and simple as our music is acoustic however we do require chairs for each musician as well as cover from rain and sun.

UPWIND! SCHOOL PROGRAM

Our wind trio (oboe, horn and bassoon) delivers an interactive performance that is both engaging and informative.

By bringing these lesser known instruments into the spotlight Upwind! will help you recruit players of these instruments to build a balanced band or orchestral program.
